Sen. Hillary Clinton, the boiler-maker drinking, working-class Pennsylvania-Illinois-Arkansas-New York girl and graduate of Wellesley and Yale Law School, backed the wrong horse in the Kentucky Derby. She urged everyone to “bet on the filly.” Eight Belles not only came in second but sadly had to be put down after the race due broken ankles on both her front legs. The winner of the race was the favorite Big Brown.
